On October 17, 1977, I join the Armed Forces as a career volunteer soldier in Bierset. A little frustrated to have to limit myself to small jobs on aircraft, I followed the training of technical NCO in the promotion A2C/79/17F. Early 1981, I returned to Bierset in the periodic inspection section of the Maintenance Group. Around the years 86’, I worked for about 3 years in the 1st Squadron where I discovered another aspect of aviation; a period which surely brought me the most intense memories. When the 3rd Wing was disbanded, I had the opportunity to complete the Mirage 5 adventure with the MIRSIP program until the spring of 1996.
